Tasty Tahini Choc Chip Cookies

These tahini chocolate chip cookies taste EXACTLY like regular chocolate chip cookies with crisp edges, soft and chewy centres, and pools of molten dark chocolate throughout every bite of cookie. 
  • 1 1/2 cups of almond flour
  • 3 tbsp gluten-free flour OR all-purpose wheat flour
  • 3 tbsp tahini
  • 3/4 tsp baking soda
  • pinch of salt
  • 2 tbsp melted coconut oil
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips or chopped chocolate bar
  • Coconut flakes for topping
  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees
  2. Whisk dry ingredients
  3. In small bowl combine wet ingredients
  4. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients
  5. Mix in chocolate chips
  6. Freeze mixture for 10 minutes
  7. Bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown
  8. Cool for 5 minutes
