Have you noticed? We have made small changes to our packaging. We have loved the process of refining the tasting notes of each blend to help make your coffee decisions easier. Are you looking for almonds and caramel? Or dark chocolate and ripe cherries? We would love to hear what you think of our new labels.

We have also updated our packaging as finally fully recyclable coffee bags. We are constantly reviewing our packaging against our own sustainability goals to make changes as soon as better options are available. Australia's 2025 National Packaging targets are a coherent national approach that we applaud!

Australia’s 2025 National Packaging Targets

In 2018 Australia established the 2025 National Packaging Targets to create a new sustainable pathway for the way we manage packaging in Australia. The four targets, to be achieved by 2025, are:

100% reusable, recyclable or compostable packaging

70% of plastic packaging being recycled or composted

50% of average recycled content included in packaging

Phase out of problematic and unnecessary single-use plastics packaging

"The whole packaging value chain collaborates to keep packaging materials out of landfill, and maximise the circular value of the materials, energy and labour within the local economy." - APCO

In alignment with the collective impact framework to achieve the 2025 National Packaging Targets, we have implemented strategies 1.2 Phase out problematic and unnecessary plastic and 1.4 Design for material recycling. Our next goal is to address strategy 1.5 Design for compostability. We will achieve this by introducing a compostable label.
