Good Harvest celebrates 10 years of fresh, organic goodness
This year, Good Harvest marks its 10th anniversary, a milestone for this beloved family-owned business on the Sunshine Coast. Original founders Mick and Kelly began their journey with a simple goal: to bring the freshest local organic produce to their community. Sourcing directly from local farms, they initially shared their produce with friends, family, and loyal customers, and soon after, their passion grew into something bigger.
Good Harvest expanded, opening a retail store in Marcoola and later acquiring a farm of their own. This farm-to-plate model is still at the heart of the operations, focusing on shortening the food chain, supporting local farmers, and promoting healthier food options. The dedication to organic produce stems from a belief that it’s better for both people and the planet.
Community is at the core of everything Good Harvest does. They strive for transparency and education, bringing people together around nourishing food. Their commitment to sustainability is clear, working towards zero waste by minimizing plastic in their supply chain, both incoming and outgoing.
Good Harvest serves the community in two key ways: through home delivery boxes packed with fresh, organic produce, and by attending four local markets across the Sunshine Coast each week (Noosa, Kawana, Marcoola and Aura). Today, they proudly feed over 1,000 families each week.
Montville Coffee is thrilled to be part of this journey. Good Harvest stocks Montville Coffee not just because of the quality of the coffee, but because both companies share a commitment to ethical, community-focused values. Here's to another decade of fresh, organic goodness!
